Playboy Live, which also goes by the name Spice Live, is the world-famous Playboy’s live webcam offering. Aside from the name, the site doesn’t really tie in with Playboy quite as much as I would have thought. I was hoping to see some Playboy models available for cam shows, but if they’re here, they aren’t specifically highlighted or mentioned anywhere on the site. Although it might not be quite what I was expecting from Playboy, the site does have quite a bit to offer for those looking for a premium live adult entertainment experience.

Playboy Live has a pretty slick looking design, but navigation is pretty limited. Upon entering the site, you’ll have the chance to join the live cam stream and chatroom for one of the live performers, and from there, you’ll see a list along the right side listing all of the available chathosts. You can browse the profiles of the online and offline hosts, and most of them have entered some basic information, but as far as I can tell,there’s no way to search this information. Cam performers are, however, divided into a several categories including new models, BBWs, couples, big butts, blondes, brunettes, ebony babes, Latinas, MILFs, threesomes, and even shemales. They even have a special category for women who perform with sex machines! Playboy Live doesn’t feature the largest selection of models I’ve seen, but with around 80 women, 10 shemales and a few couples online at any given time, I think most live cam fans will find at least a few cam performers to their liking.

Quality here at Playboy Live is good overall. You can choose the display size for the video window, and even in free chat, I was able to hear audio from many of the performers. Keep in mind, however, that free members are limited in the amount of time they can spend in free chat!

Playboy Live is definitely what I would consider a premium chat service, and the prices here reflect that. The site uses a token system, and various packages are available from around $30 for 300 tokens up to 1800 tokens for around $180. One-on-one shows start at an average of around $6 per minute while the group and voyeur modes allow for cheaper shows starting at around $2 per minute, but not as much interaction or one-on-one attention. Certain models here are considered “premier” and rates for private time with these models is even more expensive, around $9 per minute. You can preview the performers with free chat even as a non-member, but for around $30 per month, you can become a VIP member. VIP members get free access to group chats, free playback of of recorded shows, and even free access to featured group shows with well known pornstars!

Although the per-minute rates here at Playboy Live seem pretty steep compared to most, the quality of the cams is good, and the VIP membership offers some very, very nice perks. With free, unlimited access to free, group and special event chats, it’s one of the most affordable ways I know of to get some live adult entertainment!
