Cam Contacts is an adult webcam service which focuses on community much more than most similar sites I’ve visited. Though the main attraction here is certainly on live, one-on-one cam shows, the site also offers a very active members forum where you can chat with other cam viewers and hosts, and you can even join group nude chats at reduced fees. Additionally, each performer has his or her own forum and bio page so that you can keep in touch and learn more about them. There’s even a private messaging system which allows you to send messages to the performers even when they’re offline.

Model selection is pretty good and on average, there are around 600-700 models online at once. The majority of the performers are female, but there were also many different types of performers here including gay and straight men, groups, couples and transgendered people, and they’re divided into a myriad of categories which aren’t always given particularly helpful names. For example, one section is called "escorts and massage" and although there is a page which purports to explain the categories, only three of the literally dozens of available categories are even listed here, and they only include the non-adult categories like "friends and family." Some of the categories seem to refer to the amount of teasing you can expect from the performers. These include "Instant action" girls, "shy girls" and "not so shy girls," and although they aren’t specifically explained, it seems that the shy girls are going to take their sweet time getting naked, and this can add quite a bit to your cost if you’re looking for full nudity and certain naughty deeds!

Considering the somewhat vague category break downs, comprehensive search is very important here at Cam Contacts. Though the design is very basic and almost amateur in style, the search tool itself functions just fine. You can look up webcam performers based on hair color, sex, ethnic origin, build, orientation, country and more. Finding someone based on their physical appearance is pretty easy, but I did feel that the site could have used some search parameters having to do with various specific sexual acts and fetishes.

Although you can access some parts of Cam Contacts as a non-member, it’s extremely limited. Non-members can search and browse hosts, view profiles, and enter some live text chats, but video chat previews are reserved for members, and in any case, only around 25% of the hosts I tested allowed non-member text chat anyway. Additionally, preview images on the models’ bio pages are only viewable for members. If you’re interested in really previewing the site and some of the hosts before you buy any live shows, I strongly recommend signing up for a free membership. Once you’re a member, it’s easy to purchase either private or group nude chat time. Private, one-on-one shows typically start at around $2.89 per minute while group chats (which are nude chats with one chat host or couple or group and multiple viewers) start at around $1.89 per minute.

Cam Contacts has a sort of homey, friendly feel and community aspects like member chats, forums and contests which really set it apart from a lot of the large lie webcam sites. Though the group chat rates seem a tad high, private chats can be found pretty cheaply, and the site provides enough features and tools to make it more than usable for most live adult webcam fans.
